Take advantage now of a “Regram” function to easily share a subscriber’s post on Instagram.
Instagram has officially denied the addition of a “Regram” button in its application. However, such a function would have its place within the social network and would allow content creators to reach a wider target. Publishing sharing on Instagram is also widely used by brands, in particular to organize contests on the social network.
While waiting for Instagram to change its mind, it is still possible to go through a third-party application to take advantage of the Regram function.
1. Download Repost
Failing to do it from the Instagram application, you can make a “Regram” by downloading the Repost application, available for free on iPhone and Android.
- Download Repost for Android (Free)
- Download Repost for iPhone (Free)
2. Copy the link of the post
Open Instagram and choose the post you want to “regram”. Tap the button with three small dots to display the options, and then choose Copy Post Link.

3. Open Repost.
Now open the Repost app. The link to the post you just copied should appear in the app. Press the latter to generate the “Repost”.
Personalize the image by choosing the location of the original author’s mention and then the color of the title block.

4. Share the post
Then press the Repost button. A copy of the post is automatically created and saved to Camera Roll.
In the pop-up that appears, choose Copy Caption & Open Instagram to copy the regram and open Instagram. Choose whether the publication should be published in your Story or on your feed, apply your filters, and validate your “regram”.
