Reset your computer to its factory settings to start over with a clean system.
Since Windows 10, resetting your computer has become a snap. While the options were previously left to the goodwill of the machine manufacturer (reinstallation disk, recovery partition, application prompting to create recovery media), now it only takes a few clicks to reset your PC or tablet and get off on the right foot.
1. Access the settings
Click on the Windows start button, then go to system settings.

Enter the Update & Security menu and then navigate to the Recovery section in the left column.

2. Start recovery
Click the Start button. You have two options: Keep my files, and Delete all.

The first choice allows you to remove all programs and settings from your PC while keeping your documents and files, while the second choice cleans up and removes everything to restore your PC to its original state when it left the factory.

If you choose the second option, don’t forget to manually back up all your documents by copying them, for example, to an external hard drive or by backing up to the cloud.
