Caravan and motorhome manufacturer Hymer has presented two adventurous CrossOver models. They are based on the ML-T 570 and Grand Canyon S motorhomes based on the current Mercedes-Benz Sprinter.
The smallest Hymer camper to receive a CrossOver treatment is the still very sturdy Hymer Grand Canyon S at 5.93 meters. It will be equipped with all-wheel drive and is a few centimeters higher than the regular Grand Canyon S its paws. Off-road tires are folded around the wheels, but there is more. On top of the cabin, we find an LED bar that provides extra light in dark areas. The camper van is further decorated on the outside with CrossOver stickers. Hymer also provides him with a heater that runs on diesel, among other things. On the roof we find a set of solar cells. There is also one survival kit on board, which includes a shovel and a hatchet. Under the hood is a 190 hp diesel engine that is linked to a 7G-Tronic automatic transmission, of course from Mercedes-Benz. The international starting price of the 3,880 kilo Grand Canyon S CrossOver is set at € 106,990.
Hymer Grand Canyon S CrossOver
The larger Hymer ML-T 570 cannot escape a CrossOver version either. As a CrossOver, this no less than 6.89 meters long and 2.3 meters wide camper benefits from the same extras as its shorter brother, with a few differences. For example, the ML-T 570 CrossOver has a protective plate on the bottom to protect the motorcycle against sharp surfaces and the amount of solar cells on the roof is twice as large as with the Grand Canyon S. In addition, the ML-T 570 has a ladder, a roof rack, an extra spare wheel and a larger refrigerator on board. The basic international starting price of the ML-T 570 CrossOver is set at € 122,990.
