Hyundai has released the first prize of the promising Ioniq 6. It’s almost 63 grand, but don’t be alarmed. This is by no means the basic version, but the special introduction version that listens to the name First Edition.
Like many other car manufacturers, Hyundai chooses to first market its latest model in a special introduction version. It is called in full Hyundai Ioniq 6 First Edition and comes to the Netherlands in a circulation of only 250 copies. You have to bring €62,895 to the Hyundai dealer, but you will get a special Ioniq 6 in return.
The electric Hyundai Ioniq 6 First Edition has the 77.4 kWh battery in its base and, thanks to two electric motors, is 325 hp and 605 Nm strong. With that hardware, the Ioniq on matte black 20-inch alloy wheels comes 6 to 519 kilometers on a full charge.
Hyundai Ioniq 6 First Edition
Hyundai overloads the Ioniq 6 First Edition with black accents. We see black trim on both the front and back and on the side. While these parts were submerged in black paint, the side mirror caps were also included. More black details? Secure. For example, the Hyundai logos are in black. Hyundai gives the Ioniq 6 First Edition, among other things, a glass sliding and tilting roof, black headliner and seats in a combination of leather and fabric. The First Edition is available in Biophilic Blue Pearl, Serenity White Pearl, Nocturne Gray Metallic and Gravity Gold Matte. You also get a free Ionity Premium charging subscription with which you can quickly charge cheaply at the Ionity charging network.
The Hyundai Ioniq 6 First Edition can be reserved online from November 9. The Dutch prices of the regular versions of the Ioniq 6 will follow later.
Hyundai Ioniq 6
The Hyundai Ioniq 6 measures 4.86 meters in length and is therefore considerably longer than the 4.63 meters long Ioniq 5. In addition, the Ioniq 6 is no less than 14 centimeters lower than its much more angularly designed Ioniq brother. In addition to the aforementioned 77.4 kWh battery, the Ioniq 6 sedan will also be available with a 53 kWh large copy. The versions with this package are available with one or two electric motors and therefore have rear or four-wheel drive. The strongest variant is 325 hp and 605 Nm strong and zooms from standstill to a speed of 100 km/h in 5.1 seconds. The rear-wheel drive version with the largest battery pack comes just over 610 kilometers on a charge.
