Nice work
Passenger cars are certainly not the only means of transport that fall prey to manufacturers’ hunt for smart mobility solutions. Hyundai proves this with the Universe Mobile Office, a coach converted into a mobile office space.
Like sister brand Kia, Hyundai does not only produce passenger cars or light commercial vehicles. In the form of the Universe, for example, Hyundai has a touring car up to almost 13 meters long in its portfolio. That Universe is the basis for the striking creation that Hyundai now presents: the Universe Mobile Office.
According to Hyundai, the Universe Mobile Office falls under the so-called ‘smart mobility solutions’, but that certainly does not mean that we are dealing with something like an autonomous shared car. The Universe Mobile Office is just a giant touring car, but one that has been converted into an office space of sorts. The Universe Mobile Office is not just a finger exercise, but is actually coming to the Korean market. It is a Universe in which you can continue working more easily than in a regular copy. Both individually and in groups. We see separate seats that are somewhat reminiscent of the Business Class seats in airplanes, but also real conference tables with seating options for several people around them. With the chosen materials, Hyundai hopes to create the atmosphere of an open office space.
The Universe Mobile Office will be available on the Korean market as a 10- and 13-seater, among other things. The regular Universe is available with a maximum 440 hp 12.3-liter six-in-line diesel engine.
