Innr is expanding its range with the Smart Round Ceiling Lamp Comfort. This is a smart ceiling lamp that works with the wireless Zigbee standard and can be controlled via the Google Assistant.

The Dutch Innr was founded in 2012 by Jeroen and Rob (both ex-managers at Philips). The company wants to make beautiful, practical and smart lighting under the motto ‘Simple and Affordable’. Innr’s newest lamps are the Smart Round Ceiling Lamp Comfort and the Smart Round Ceiling Lamp White.
The Smart Round Ceiling Lamp Comfort comes in two flavours, a ceiling lamp with a diameter of 41 cm and one with a diameter of 30 cm. You can connect the ceiling lamp to an existing Zigbee Bridge and then in the app you can choose warm white light for extra atmosphere or cooler white light for more concentration. The white shade, from warm to cool white light, can be set yourself, but Innr has also prepared various light options in the app. For example, you can have the lamps react to the start and end of your working day, but also, for example, to the time you wake up or go to sleep.
According to Innr, this lamp is perfect for working at a home workplace or studying at the dining room table: “You feel like “coming home after a long day of work.”
The Round Ceiling Lamp Comfort has a metal housing with a diameter of 41 cm and a depth of 7.2 cm. The ceiling lamp has a brightness of 2500 lumens and a white shade from warm (2200K) to cool white light (5000K). The smaller Smart Round Ceiling Lamp White has a diameter of 30 cm, is 5.2 cm deep and has a brightness of 1200 lumens and a white shade of 2700K (warm white light).
Both lamps can be easily controlled wirelessly with the app, even when you are not at home. This can be done via a voice command with the Google Assistant or Amazon’s Alexa. The lamps are compatible with the Philips Hue bridge and other smart home systems such as Samsung SmartThings, a Homey or an Amazon Echo.
