iOS 13 introduces a dark mode and a major app now supports this feature as well. With the latest Instagram update, you’re dressing the iOS app in dark colors.
Instagram gets dark mode
With the release of iOS 13, the mobile operating system got a dark mode, which is easier on your eyes if you use your iPhone in the evenings. Popular apps have to build in support for the dark mode and Instagram now does this with the latest app update.

If you have updated the application to the latest version, the appearance of Instagram will automatically change based on the theme you have set on your iOS device. So if you activate the dark mode of iOS 13, the dark mode will be enabled on Instagram at the same time. In the screenshots above (via 9to5Mac) see what this looks like.
The new feature is in version 114 of the iOS app, which you can download via the button below. In addition, of course, make sure that your iPhone is updated to iOS 13.

Apple has released several updates since the release of iOS 13 to fix bugs and other issues. The most recent version at the time of writing is iOS 13.1.2, which fixes issues with the Camera app, among other things.
