Send messages to others for free via WhatsApp. Downloading and setting up the app is easy on Android devices.

Install whatsapp through the Play Store. Do this like this:
- Open the app Play Store.
- At the top, tap Search for apps and games.
- Type “WhatsApp” and in the suggestions tap WhatsApp Messenger.
- Tap on to install.

- Tap the app whatsapp to open it.
- Tap on Agree and continue.
- WhatsApp is linked to your phone number. You must verify this number. To do this, enter your phone number and tap Next one.
- The number you entered is displayed. Tap on OK if the number is correct.
- You will receive an SMS with a code. Enter this code.
- WhatsApp requests access to your contacts, photos, media, and files to search Google Drive for a backup. Tap on Not now or Get on.
- Tap on To allow and give access to your contacts.
- You will be asked to access your photos, media, and files. You can then send and receive photos and videos. Tap on Refuse or To allow.
- If you’ve used WhatsApp before, you’ll be asked if you want to restore your message history from a backup. If you want this, tap To recover. If you have never used WhatsApp before, you will not see this.
- Enter your account information on the next screen. To do this, tap the blue line in the middle and type your name.
- Tap on the gray picture of a figure to set a profile picture. Then tap where the desired photo is located, then the photo and finally OK or Ready.
- Tap on Next one.
