Why Google Fonts?
As mentioned, Google Fonts has a lot of different fonts that you can download for free. Do you want to pursue a certain style? Or are you looking for something special that really stands out that no one else has? Then you have a good chance that you will find the font you need in Google Fonts. To consult the database, go to fonts.google.com. From here you can easily search for your perfect font.
Download and install your font
Did you find what you were looking for here? Great, then you can download the font quickly and easily by clicking on the top right corner of the page Download Family to click. It will then be downloaded to your computer in a zip file. You then extract this zip file and then click on the file with the name TrueType font file. click on to install to install the font directly on your computer.
Using the installed font in Microsoft Word
Then you can start using the installed font in Microsoft Word. When you open Word, go to your drop-down menu in the block Font style. If you already have Word open, you may have to restart the program first. Now scroll down until you find your newly installed font. If all goes well, this should be in the list. If you have a very long font list, you can of course also type the name of the font in the search bar.
