In recent weeks we have already been able to discover several functionalities of iOS 15.2. This has to do with the fact that developers and beta testers already received early versions of the operating system. But which options were ultimately implemented?
Apple ID

Apple Music

iOS 15.2: Messages

iOS 15.2: Privacy
Apple introduces the App Privacy Report function. This makes it possible to see how often certain apps steal your data. This way you can see when they have requested access to your photos, camera, microphone, contacts and much more.
Siri & Search
Siri, Spotlight and Safari Search ensure that parents and children are safer online. This option was already there, but has become more extensive thanks to iOS 15.2.

Improvements in iOS 15.2
As mentioned, iOS 15.2 not only brings new functionalities, but also improvements to your iPhone. The following issues are addressed in this way:
- The Mailapp now has an option to hide your email address. iCloud+ subscribers can create unique or random addresses
- Find My can track your iPhone for up to five hours in the Energy Saving Mode
- Shares provide more insight into annual figures and now also shows the current price for a ticker
- tags in Memories and Notes are to be removed over the rename
iOS 15.2: These issues are resolved
Of course, not only are there a few improvements to existing apps, but iOS 15.2 also brings bug fixes. Your iPhone should no longer have the following issues:
- VoiceOver no longer causes Siri to stop responding to a locked iPhone
- ProRAW-photos no longer look overexposed in third party apps
- Locked iPhone no longer causes problems between CarPlay, HomeKit and a garage door
- Now playing can now be seen again in CarPlay
- Streaming services apps can reload content on iPhone 13 models
- Microsoft Exchange users no longer see appointments on wrong dates in the agendaapp.
iOS 15.2 is now available for download on all supported iPhone models. You get the update via Settings -> General -> Software Update.
