Apple presents iOS 19 in the coming month and there is a handy feature that improves the battery life of your iPhone. You need to know this.
iOS 19 improves battery life
According to Mark Gurman Van Bloomberg has devised Apple something new to improve the battery life of your iPhone. According to him, the company would intend to use Apple Intelligence for this. This means that iOS 19 gets an AI-controlled option for improving the battery life. The feature looks at how you use your device and where you can possibly make adjustments to reduce the battery consumption.
For this battery option, Apple uses battery data that it has collected from users over time. The battery mode can limit the power collection of apps and other system functions based on the use of the device. It also contains an indicator on the lock screen that shows how long it takes before your iPhone is charged.
For the iPhone 17 Air
The feature for improving the battery life in iOS 19 is designed with the super -thin iPhone 17 Air in mind. This thin iPhone does not have that much room for a battery on the inside. There are also rumors that the battery of the iPhone 17 Air does not last as long as that of other iPhone 17 models and that Apple is working on a special battery cover.
Apple is also planning to improve the battery life of the iPhone 17 Air with the aforementioned AI optimization. This feature will also be available for all other iPhones that IOS 19 can run.
Extending the battery life through AI will be described together with various other new functions in iOS 19 as ‘Powered by’ Apple Intelligence. Apple is apparently also planning to use that name for some Apple Watch functions.
Other functions that brings iOS 19 to your iPhone include a glass-inspired design that looks like Visionos, a redesigned health app with new functionality, updates for Siri and more. iOS 19 will be available to the general public this fall.
