Unfortunately, we will have to wait a while for that, because rumors are already predicting that the updated version of Siri has been delayed. This means that the most important feature is missing from the release of iOS 19.
Improved Siri delayed
According to Gurman, Apple still plans to announce iOS 19 in September 2025. That’s the same timeline the company always maintains, unveiling the biggest iPhone update of the year in the second week of September. At the presentation of iOS 19, Apple announces all new features, including the improved version of Siri. The official release of the updated voice assistant is much later.
Gurman predicts that Apple will only release many of the new features with iOS 19.4. That is much later than the release of iOS 19, Apple usually only releases the fourth iOS update in the spring. We will therefore have to wait until March 2026 for the most important features of iOS 19. It is not yet known which other features have been postponed, but in any case the new version of Siri will appear later.
iOS 18 features are still missing
So it looks like Apple is following a new timeline when releasing new features. For example, the most important features of iOS 18 have not yet appeared in Europe. The first components of Apple Intelligence can now be tested in the United States, but not all features are available there yet. The same applies to iOS 19 next year, even then many of the functions will be delayed.
Apple Intelligence is expected to become available in the European Union with iOS 18.4.
