iOS 26.3 vs iOS 26.4: This is what your new iPhone settings look like

The next update for the iPhone will be iOS 26.4, which will have a different design for the iPhone settings than in iOS 26.3. This is what it looks like!

Apple has released the first test version of iOS 26.4! Thanks to iOS 26.4 beta 1, we know that many new features are coming to the iPhone soon. Apple introduces more features, useful improvements and an adapted design. We see the latter in the Settings app, where choosing an iPhone wallpaper in iOS 26.4 is different than in iOS 26.3.

In iOS 26.4 you get more options when selecting a new wallpaper than in iOS 26.3. Apple has made the display clearer, so you can install a range of wallpapers from each category. As of iOS 26.4, these are no longer on your iPhone by default, to prevent them from unintentionally using storage space. Starting with iOS 26.4, this list view makes it much easier to determine what your next wallpaper will be. This is what it looks like in the following software version:

More new features

Apple is overhauling the settings menu in iOS 26.4, but this is not the only difference with iOS 26.3. There are a lot of new features coming to your iPhone. For example, Apple Podcasts will have support for video, you can put together playlists in Apple Music using Apple Intelligence and protection for stolen devices will soon be enabled by default. Furthermore, nine new emoji are coming to your iPhone with iOS 26.4.

In addition, at least seven new features are coming to your iPhone. With “Audio Zoom” the microphone focuses on the same subject as the camera, making the audio of a video sound much better. You will soon see your average bedtime in the Health app and the personal hotspot in iOS 26.4 will provide better insight into data usage per device. These are important improvements in iOS 26.4 that ensure that your iPhone works better than in iOS 26.3.

Release of iOS 26.3

Smaller differences between iOS 26.3 and iOS 26.4 are reflected in the design, including the menu with all wallpapers on your iPhone. Apple has now released the first test version of iOS 26.4, with more betas to follow in the coming weeks. These software versions may add even more new features that will come to your iPhone with iOS 26.4.

We have to wait a little longer for the final release. Apple released iOS 26.3 not long ago, so it is expected that iOS 26.4 will take some time.
