iOS 26 Beta 7 is now available: this will change on your iPhone

Apple released a few weeks before the official release iOS 26 beta 7 and this is what changes this version brings to your iPhone.

We saw this in the iOS 26 betas so far

The upcoming software update iOS 26 brings a whole new design, new Apple Intelligence features, new functions for the apps telephone and messages, and updates for CarPlay, Apple Music, Maps and Wallet. These are the changes we have seen in the earlier betas.

In iOS 26 Beta 2 Design adjustments appeared, including improvements in the readability of the control panel, a better menu layout in Safari and better accessibility options for high contrast mode.

iOS 26 Beta 3 Added new background colors and opaque to some of the more transparent tabbals.

iOS 26 Beta 4 has reversed the adjustments to opaque again. In the meantime, the reporting center still uses full transparency when it is completely opened. iOS 26 Bèta 4 has also re-introduced reporting entertainment for news apps. Apple had this Apple IntelLigence function previously paused after complaints that texts allowances could change the meaning of heads.

iOS 26 Beta 5 has returned the Select button to Mail, added a switch to return to the classic cattle feature of the camera mode, and more.

iOS 26 Beta 6 has removed that switch for the camera cattle direction, added faster animations, added new ringtones, and more.

This brings iOS 26 beta 7

In addition to improvements and bug fixes, iOS 26 Bèta 7 also brings a new function to your iPhone.

Adaptiver Power Notifications

iOS 26 introduces an adaptive power mode on the iPhone, in addition to the existing energy-saving mode. According to Apple, this mode can implement performance adjustments if necessary to extend the battery life. Consider reducing the brightness of the screen, so that some activities can continue for longer. But also to automatically switch on the energy saving mode when the remaining battery duration taps 20 percent.

iOS 26 Beta 7 is now available: this will change on your iPhone

iOS 26 Bèta 7 adds an extra switch for Adaptive Power Notifications in the Settings app, under Battery> Start -up mode. With this setting you indicate whether you want to receive push reports when the adaptive electricity mode is switched on. The adaptive electricity mode is only available on the iPhone 15 Pro models and newer.
