iPadOS 17 gets cool features (and one very special one)
Next month is the day when we get to see the first official look of iPadOS 17 during WWDC 2023. analyst941 on Twitter to tell you more about the upcoming update of the iPad.
NB! You have to take these rumors with a grain of salt, but this Twitter user was right before predicting the Dynamic Island coming to the iPhone 14 Pro (Max).
One of his striking statements is that Apple is now considering bringing all functions of the lock screen on the iPhone to the iPad. For example, it is currently not possible to set widgets on the lock screen of the iPad.
According to the rumor, however, Apple goes further and even adds a very special function to iPadOS 17. It will then be possible to adjust the position of your clock. Apple has never given this option before and that could even be a stepping stone for even more cool adjustments in iPadOS 17 and iOS 17.
Improvements for Stage Manager
In addition, Apple seems to be expanding the functions of Stage Manager in iPadOS 17. For example, you can now put the iPad to sleep while the external screen remains on. There will be support for webcams in external monitors and you will be able to stream multiple audio/video sources while using Stage Manager.
Special version of iPadOS 17
In addition, Apple is working on a new iPad with a special version of iPadOS 17 and its own features. This special version of iPadOS is rumored to allow the iPad to drive two 6K (60 Hz) displays over Thunderbolt 4.
