1. iPhone 16 will be (much) bigger
The biggest difference between the iPhone 15 and the iPhone 16 is (literally) the size. According to rumors, the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max will have a larger screen than the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. The iPhone 16 Pro is expected to have a 6.27-inch (159.31 mm) screen and the iPhone 16 Pro Max will have a 6.85-inch (174.06 mm) screen.
2. Action button comes to all iPhones
The action button, which we first saw on the iPhone 15 Pro and the iPhone 15 Pro Max last year, will return this year on the iPhone 16. According to rumors, this will not just happen, because all iPhones will be equipped with an action button this year. This means that the button will also come to the ‘normal’ iPhone 16 (Plus). It is also quite possible that the action button will have new functions in 2024.

Apple already introduced the action button with the iPhone 15 Pro (Max), but an additional button is added with the iPhone 16 Pro (Max). 4. Improved camera on the iPhone 16
The iPhone 15 Pro Max received a tetraprism lens last year, which allows you to zoom in up to 5x. We will probably also see this camera on the iPhone 16 Pro this year. With both the iPhone 16 Pro and the iPhone 16 Pro Max, Apple is reportedly using new sensors that allow you to take better photos in low light.
In addition, the ultra-wide-angle lens becomes a standard 48-megapixel camera on the iPhone 16, while on the iPhone 15 it is still a 12-megapixel camera. The camera therefore causes major differences between the iPhone 15 and the iPhone 16, because it will be much better this year. And that’s not all, because the camera island is most likely going to change. It is not yet clear how exactly the lenses will be placed on the iPhone 16.
5. Microphone gets update
In addition to an improved camera, the iPhone 16 also has a different microphone than the iPhone 15. According to the usually reliable Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the iPhone 16’s microphone is more resistant to water. The new microphone should also be able to handle disturbing ambient noise better. This way, your voice will be recognized more quickly in a noisy room and Siri will work better.
