A new iPhone has been announced! Apple has officially presented the iPhone 16th. The phone is seen as the successor to the iPhone SE 2022 and is cheaper than the iPhone 16. Apple has considerably increased the prices of the cheapest iPhone in the Netherlands and Belgium, but that is not very strange. The iPhone 16th comes standard with 128 GB of storage space. That is a big difference with the iPhone SE 2022, which came as standard with 64 GB of storage space. The iPhone 16th has twice as much storage space, which means that the price is slightly higher. You will get many more new functions for that at the cheapest iPhone.
Many new features
Now that Apple has officially announced the iPhone 16th, we know what prices and functions the device has. The phone runs on the A18 chip, which we also see in the iPhone 16 and the iPhone 16 Plus. With this processor, the iPhone 16th has support for all new functions of Apple Intelligence. That is a big advantage, with recent devices such as the iPhone 15 (plus), Apple Intelligence is missing.
Other new features of the iPhone 16th are the 6.1-inch OLED screen, Face ID and the USB-C port. At the rear, the phone has a 48-megapixel camera, with which you can zoom in up to 2x without loss of quality. The front camera has also been improved, which is a 12-megapixel camera at the iPhone 16th. With the new phone you can take much sharper photos than was the case with the iPhone SE 2022. The night mode is available for the first time at the cheapest iPhone.
Release of the iPhone 16th
Another function that the iPhone 16th of the iPhone 16 has taken over is the action button. We saw this earlier at the Apple Watch Ultra (2), iPhone 15 Pro (Max) and the iPhone 16 series.
