The iPhone SE 2022 was a great budget iPhone, but the lack of Face ID and the presence of Touch ID gave it a pretty outdated look. This seems to finally be coming to an end with the iPhone SE 4.
First, the design will be overhauled. The iPhone SE 2022 still had the design that most resembled an iPhone 8. According to rumors, the iPhone SE 4 will have the look of the iPhone 14.
USB-C and action button
But not everything from the iPhone 14 is adopted. The iPhone SE 4 also has a USB-C port. In addition, according to rumors, the action button will also come to the new budget iPhone.
You can attach a function to the action button yourself. This makes it possible, for example, to open the camera or start an Assignment. The action button is located where the mute button is.
Camera with 48 MP
According to rumors, you will still find a single camera on the back of the iPhone SE 4. Probably with the same look as the iPhone SE 2022. However, something will change. The iPhone SE 4 will have a 48 MP camera, just like the iPhone 15.
On the front: away with Touch ID
Quite a few changes are also expected with the screen. For example, the iPhone SE 4 will have a new OLED panel, based on that of the iPhone 14. The Touch ID button will finally go away and Face ID will take its place.
It is not yet known whether the Dynamic Island will also be transferred to the iPhone SE 4. The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus still had a notch, but on the iPhone 15 all models have the Dynamic Island. It may well be that the new SE will also get this feature.
