My daughter is five years old. She has been drinking soy milk since she was a baby (after seven months of breastfeeding) because she digested it better than cow’s milk. Now I wonder if she is not deficient in certain nutrients by drinking only soy milk?
Thank you in advance for your answer

Answer
Best,
If she drinks soy milk fortified with calcium, there is no problem. Soy milk is complete but does not contain any calcium. You can check this on the packaging. Most soy products on the market are calcium fortified.
Milk is the main source of calcium and we need it to build our bones. That’s why this is so important.
