Have iPhone 13 screen replaced by a third party? Do not do it

Is the screen of your iPhone 13 (Pro) shattered? It can be tempting to have the display replaced at a third party, because that is a lot cheaper than at Apple. But that doesn’t seem like a good idea.

Popular YouTube channel Phone Repair Guru shows in a video that you probably won’t be able to replace the iPhone 13 or iPhone 13 Pro screen without losing support for Face ID. The only way you can still unlock your iPhone is to enter the passcode.
