JBL launches 5 new bar sound bars with removable surround speakers

Many know that JBL is a big name in the audio area. But did you also know that about 2/3 of all cinemas in Europe, Middle East and Africa is equipped with JBL speakers? Today JBL has unveiled his new soundbar line-up before 2025 with the JBL Bar Series that are compatible with every TV. Striking are the removable speakers at the ends of the sound bars, which can be disconnected and used as surround speakers, without the need for additional sockets or extra investments.
The full series of soundbars is equipped with Harman’s unique Multibeam 3.0 technology to create a surround sound experience from a single soundbar. In combination with Dolby Atmos, DTS: X* and removable rear speakers, film lovers experience an experience as if they are in the front row in the cinema – just from their own living room.

Experience entertainment
The new sound bars from JBL use SmartDetail, a technology developed by Harman to make the most subtle audio clearly audible: from an almost silent footstep to the cracking of a wooden floor. In addition, Harman introduces his AI Sound Boost ** technology in this series of sound bars. Thanks to this feature, users can count on a full bass to experience scenes during films, series or video games in optima forma without distortion occurring, even if the volume has been rotated considerably.
Harman Purevoice 2.0 technology has added to everyone on the screen clearly. As a result, dialogues are always easy to follow. Finally, the design of the sound bars is refined and cast into a slimmer design.

Flagship model: the JBL Bar 1300MK2
The showpiece within the line-up is the JBL Bar 1300MK2. This flagship model comes with a powerful dual 8inch driver subwoofer and two removable, wireless Bluetooth speakers. This Premium Soundbar literally places the user in the center of every home cinema, because by placing the removable speakers in the back of the room, the user is at the center of the setup. Because these removable speakers also have Bluetooth, they offer the necessary flexibility to enjoy music anywhere. For example, the speaker can be moved to the kitchen during a house party or used during a barbecue with friends in the garden.
Furthermore, AI Sound Boost plays a powerful sound in the bar 1300MK2’s compact subwoofer and minimizes distortion. The 6 up-oriented drivers deliver real Dolby Atmos and DTS: X 3D Surround-Audio.

Cinema
The JBL Bar 1000MK2 uses two up-oriented drivers and a 10-inch subwoofer, as well as removable rear speakers, to create a real Dolby Atmos and DTS: X 3D sound experience in a more compact format. For slightly smaller spaces, the JBL Bar offers 800MK2 Surround Sound with removable speakers and virtual Dolby Atmos for room -filling sound.
Finally, the JBL Bar 500MK2 and JBL Bar 300MK2 are intended for smaller spaces, for example for an apartment.

JBL One Platform
All new JBL Bar models are powered by the JBL One Platform. With this you stream all types of content from any music service and every device, including HI-res and spatial audio, both via the JBL One app and through popular music apps for which you have a subscription. Use the app to adjust a 7-band Equalizer for a personalized sound and set the “moment” button to play your favorite songs and playlists at the touch of a button. All one platform products receive software updates with the latest functions and technologies.

The JBL Bar 1000MK2, BAR 800MK2, BAR 500MK2 and BAR 300MK2 are available later this month via JBL.com and the JBL BAR 1300MK2 is expected in September.
