Kawasaki has announced the price of the new Z900 SE, the premium version of the popular Z 900. For just over 12 thousand euros, the Z900 SE can be yours and that is quite competitively priced when you compare it to the standard Z900 .
With the launch of the Z900 SE, Kawasaki has used the same formula for success as they did with the Z750R and more recently the Z1000R, but with SE in the name instead of R.
However, the setup is the same: the same bike as the standard model, but with premium parts. For example, the Z900 Special Edition is distinguished by radial Brembo M4.32 monobloc brake calipers at the front, with 300 brake discs and steel-braided brake lines.
In addition to the better brakes (the standard version has axial Nissins) there is an Öhlins S46 monoshock at the rear, with separate hydraulic reservoir to adjust the spring preload. A fully adjustable KYB 41mm upside down is provided at the front.
To ensure that the Z900 SE is recognizable from thousands, Kawasaki has given it a unique color scheme, a belly pan and a gold-colored front fork.
Although we already knew all this in September, we did not know how much had to be put down for the bicycle. However, that has now been announced: the Z900 SE has been given a price tag of € 12,199.
