Sasha Selipanov made a name for himself as a designer of fierce supercars and hypercars, but now he is going to try it all himself. Selipanov’s first hypercar will be released next summer under the name Nilu27.
You may know the man himself by name, and if not, you certainly know his creations. Sasha Selipanov was one of the founders of cars such as the Bugatti Chiron and Koenigsegg Gemera. He also largely put the powerful Koenigsegg CC850 on paper. However, recently Selipanov has mainly been busy for himself and we should see the results next summer. Selipanov is warming up the mood with a teaser image of his first own model.
Under the brand name Nilu27 – not quite as catchy as Bugatti or Koenigsegg – the hypercar will be released on August 15, which, according to Selipanov, is ‘averse to digitalization, electrification and other distracting matters’. So expect a nice, pure monster with a powerful combustion engine. According to its creator, the car certainly has ‘a healthy dose holy shit‘. That promises something… The hypercar, with some Koenigsegg and some Pagani influences, is presented at Pebble Beach.
