KTM continues to tinker with its single-cylinder legends and comes before 2026 with the latest version of the 690 Enduro R and 690 SMC R. Both machines still share that insane LC4 block-the strongest one-pitter that you can buy new-but are now sharper, smarter and more modern.

2026 KTM 690 Enduro R – Everywhere at home

The 690 Enduro R remains the all -rounder who was always, but with more refinement and better reliability. The Euro 5+ LC4 block was given a custom crankshaft housing, new clutch and stator cover and a renewed oil system. In short: more robust and a little brighter.

In terms of equipment, the Enduro R finally moves into modern times: a 4.2 ”TFT screen, new switching material, USB-C connection and an LED headlight. Electronics?
