Bulletproof

Wrong friends? Then the Land Rover 110 might be the car for you. Land Rover can now also supply the Defender 110 with armor that protects the occupants to a certain extent against bullets and explosives.
Land Rover has a partnership with vehicle protection specialist Trasco, so it is now also possible to have your Defender 110 armored. If you order a Defender 110 with ‘decoration’ from Trasco, you will receive a Land Rover Defender in which various body parts are equipped with VPAM-certified bullet-resistant materials. For example, the windscreen, side windows, doors and roof can be equipped with VPAN level 4 or 6 armor. A bullet world shot with a window behind the second row of seats is also one of the things that Trasco can place in the Defender 110.

On the list of Trasco we find, among other things, a fire extinguishing system for the engine compartment that you can switch on at the push of a button, although the system also works automatically. Also flashing lights and siren, an intercom, run-flat tires and a self-sealing fuel tank are part of the Trasco equipment. According to Land Rover, the Defender 110 with Trasco extras is hardly distinguishable from a regular copy. It is unknown how heavy the Defender 110 with Trasco protection is.
