This is the new Range Rover. Officially you’re not supposed to see it yet, but as so often happens on the internet, the British luxury SUV has leaked prematurely. What is striking about the fifth generation Range Rover is how much it resembles its predecessor.
If you see the approaching Range Rover diagonally from the front or from the side, you know for sure: this is the old one. But no, Land Rover has simply opted for an evolutionary design, with a bit of Range Rover Velar over it. The front of the Range Rover seems a bit more angular this time, with sharp light units and many rectangular elements. At the back is a surprise: very narrow vertical light units behind black plastic, which are connected to each other via a black band.
New Range Rover also available as a fully electric SUV
In the interior, time seems to have stood still, because the dashboard looks broadly the same as that of the current Range Rover. In reality, everything is new, of course. A larger infotainment screen now ‘floats’ in front of the center console. And in terms of tech, the brand new Range Rover will be completely up to date. Nothing is known about the powertrain of the British premium SUV at the moment. But it is certain that there will be hybrid variants and even an electric variant.
