From Poland

The Chinese Leapmotor will soon operate here under the wing of Stellantis and should therefore gain a firm grip on the European market. However, such a Leapmotor is still a rare appearance. This Leapmotor T03 has arrived from the country where it will soon roll off the production line.
We can imagine it if you can no longer see the forest for the trees with all those new Chinese brands. However, Leapmotor is a name to remember, because Stellantis has taken a significant interest in it and wants to help the brand storm the market here in Europe. This should happen, among other things, with the Leapmotor T03, which will soon roll off the production line in the factory in Poland where Stellantis currently builds the Fiat 500. There is a good chance that we will see the T03 more often in the Netherlands in due course. However, it is now still a very rare appearance.
The undersigned spotted this T03 last weekend. It is on Polish plates and is therefore already familiar with the country where many of its brothers would eventually be built. It could be that it is a T03 from an early Polish production series and that it has already been sent out of the way. One thing is certain; If it drove this way under its own power, quite a few charging stops were involved.
The 3.62 meter long Leapmotor 03 has a maximum 41 kWh battery pack, which should allow for approximately 280 km of driving range according to the WLTP cycle. In practice, if you drive this way from Poland on the highway, you will soon have to make a stop every 200 km to recharge. Then you will soon have to charge it about six times and you will easily spend four hours charging on such a journey, if you hang it on the fast charger. Anyway, now he’s here and we can get used to it. Do you like it?
