Lexus adds a fuel-only version of the UX to its offering. That UX 200 will be lower in the price list than the hybrid UX 250h. Thus, the model can now be ordered from just under € 40,000.
In the market for a Lexus UX? Then until now you only had the choice between the hybrid powered UX 250h or the fully electric UX 300e. There is also a version: the UX 200. Just like the hybrid UX, it has the 2.0-liter four-cylinder as its power source, but it is not supported by an electric motor. The power, 170 hp, is 14 hp lower than that of the UX 250h. Naturally, the UX 200 also consumes somewhat more than the UX 250h: an average of 6.8 l / 100 km compared to 5.5 l / 100 km. It also has a CVT machine and is available from € 39,995. It is quite exceptional for Lexus to make a non-hybrid powertrain available in Europe.
Also new is the temporarily available version ‘Preference Line’. This is available for both the UX 200 and the UX 250h and adds 18-inch alloy wheels, Smart Entry, blind spot detection, privacy glass, a rain sensor, parking assistance camera, an automatically dimming interior mirror and LED front fog lights to the basic equipment. The UX 200 as a Preference Line costs at least € 41,495. This temporarily available version offers a nice discount for the UX 250h. Normally the UX 250h is available from € 45,595, but as a Preference Line it costs € 43,395. The UX 250h is therefore provisionally available for € 3,400 more than the UX 200, where the price difference would normally be € 5,600. The price difference between the two versions as Preference Line is even smaller: € 1,900.
