Log out of Facebook remotely

Have you logged into Facebook elsewhere and forgot to log out? No problem. You can still log out remotely.

Suppose you have used Facebook on a computer in a public place, such as the library. At home you suddenly realize that you have not logged off. That is not desirable, because other users of the computer then have access to the account. Fortunately, going back to the location is not necessary, because Facebook keeps track of which devices an account is logged in on and you can log out immediately.

Don’t want to unsubscribe from a Facebook session, but want to get off the platform? Read in the tip ‘Delete Facebook account’ how to permanently delete an account.
