As a gamer you can quickly spend a few hours huddled behind your screen. Especially at the highest level, every millisecond counts and then your headset is perhaps at least as important as the refresh rate of your screen and the response time of your keyboard and mouse. With the G Pro X wireless, Logitech does not focus on the colorful LEDs, but on the eSporter that is fully focused on gaming.

The Logitech G Pro X Wireless has a beautiful traditional look reminiscent of the 1960s headset design. The aluminum and steel from which the headset is made looks beautiful and feels solid. While the headset is only a few grams lighter than Logitech’s other wireless headset, the G935, the Pro X Wireless feels a lot more comfortable. This is probably because the headband is a bit wider and the weight is better distributed over your skull. The faux leather ear pads cover your ears and the sound of the outside world well. If desired, the faux leather cushions can be exchanged for the supplied fabric ear cushions.
The microphone was often a pain at Logitech. Logitech’s choice to acquire Blue Microphones in 2018 is now clearly paying off. The detachable microphone that comes with the Logitech Pro X Wireless sounds very good and with the Blue Vo! Ce software the voice can be fine-tuned to your liking. You can customize it to your liking or download the profiles from your favorite streamer and use that.
Of course, the most important thing is the sound and Logitech Pro X Wireless really excels at that. We have extensively tested the headset with various games such as Forza Horizon 4, Fortnite, Sea of Thieves and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. There, the headset scores very high on all points. The bass sounds fine and deep and the high tones are pleasant, so that atmospheric background noises such as wind, splashing water or background music are very well audible. While listening to music, the Logitech Pro X Wireless sounds more than enough, but of course you don’t buy a gaming headset for a classic piece by Erik Satie. We do notice that the quality of the music pieces improves a lot when the surround sound is switched off.
Conclusion
We are convinced that at the moment you cannot find a better wireless gaming headset for 200 euros than the Logitech Pro X wireless. The headset scores well in almost all areas. We are impressed by the build quality, sound quality, wearing comfort and the software that works superbly in fine-tuning your audio and is also easy to use. The only point of criticism is that the headset does not have a 3.5mm analog connection. That makes it less interesting for console gamers.
