You can buy the new iMac in seven summer versions and according to a rumor, the MacBook Air 2021 will also come in all kinds of fresh colors. The new Apple laptop would also get an improved processor.
MacBook Air 2021 copies colors from iMac 2021
In a new video says Jon Prosser that the MacBook Air 2021 will appear in all kinds of bright, summery colors. Prosser is a well-known source in the Apple world and previously predicted, for example, the release date of the iPhone SE and several of his rumors about the iPhone 12 turned out to be correct.
Prosser explains that the information comes from the same source that was aware of the design of the iMac 2021 at an early stage. Apple’s brand new desktop went into pre-order last week and will be available from mid-May. In February, Prosser already showed the design of the new iMac.
The 2021 iMac comes in seven fresh colors. It seems unlikely that the MacBook Air 2021 will appear in as many versions. Normally you can choose a maximum of two to three colors.
‘New MacBook Air comes in blue’
Prosser does indicate that you can at least buy the MacBook Air 2021 in blue. The laptop would also get a different design with smaller screen edges and a slightly thinner housing. This sounds like the concept of the MacBook Air 2021 that appeared last week.
The tech journalist also confirms that the new MacBook Air will have an M2 chip. This one is made by Apple and is the successor to the M1 processor, which powers the current Air laptop. Rumors have it that the M2 chip is faster, more energy efficient and mass production has already begun.

Rumors contradict each other
Ming-Chi Kuo, another renowned source in the Apple world, claims that the MacBook Air will not be renewed until 2022. The analyst claims that the laptop will immediately get a mini LED screen, just like the iPad Pro 2021.
