Mansory makes horny lawn mower

The end of the year is approaching, a period in which various players in the car country show themselves from a lighter side. Tuner Mansory is also in a party mood and presents the BSTN GT XI. Yes, an optically dressed lawn mower.

Prepare for a short but special story. We mainly know Tuner Mansory from the extended Lamborghinis, Ferraris and Porsches, but the BSTN GT XI is of a completely different order. No gull-wing doors and mighty eight, ten or twelve cylinders. The latest creation from Mansory is a dressy lawn mower. However, the why of the BSTN GT XI is even more remarkable.

The BSTN GT XI is a collaboration between Mansory and sportswear chain BSTN. The tuner says it has joined BSTN to celebrate the twenty-fifth anniversary of the Air Jordan X1 sneakers. That explains the name of the striking lawn mower, but not the why. Now it comes. 25 years ago, Air Jordan designer Tinker Hatfield drew inspiration from a lawn mower for the design of the signature ‘basketball shoes’. Mansory apparently did not need a better hook to optically tune a lawn mower.

The BSTN XI is a one-off that, after all, we are talking about a cart that mows grass, appears quite fierce. All parts of ‘the coach’ are made of carbon fiber. Anyone who drives Mansory’s lawn mower over his lawn, does so while sitting on a leather-covered sports seat to keep the driver in place. Very nice if you gave the sports steering wheel finished with leather and carbon fiber a too strong swing in all your enthusiasm. Special Jumpman, BSTN and Mansory badges are the icing on the proverbial cake. It is not known what the unique lawn mower must cost.
