We had to wait a while, but Mario Kart Tour multiplayer is now available to everyone. The mode has been tested for a few months and you can play it yourself from today.

If you only want to race against people from the Netherlands, you must give the app permission to your location. In addition, there is a distinction between racing with acquaintances and racing against strangers. We explain how this works so that you can start racing in less than a minute. In both cases, you must have the latest version of the app installed. So check whether an update is available in the App Store before you follow the steps below.

When Mario Kart Tour came out, many players were disappointed when they discovered that there was no multiplayer mode. Even now, some remarkable choices have been made by Nintendo. For example, players who play a lot or have paid money for kart cars and parts will do better than free players who have a less impressive collection.
