Maxus is the first brand in the Netherlands to offer a fully-fledged electric pick-up. This is the Maxus T90 EV Pick Up, an electric workhorse that costs around €55,000.

A few days after AutoWeek wrote that Maxus would soon add an electric pick-up to its Dutch model range, we can tell you what that electric workhorse will cost: €54,990. Please note that this does not include VAT. After all, Maxus markets the T90 EV Pick-up as a commercial vehicle.

For that little 55 grand you get an electric pick-up with a 177 hp and 310 Nm strong electric motor. The electric variant of the regular T90 – of which sister brand MG also has a version – has an electric range of 330 kilometers thanks to an 89 kWh battery. Fast charging is possible with up to 80 kW. It can tow up to 1,000 kilos while the payload is 925 kilos. The cargo box in which you can store those kilos is 1.49 meters deep and 1.51 meters wide.

Standard equipment includes 17-inch alloys, an infotainment system with 10.25-inch display, leather upholstery, electrically adjustable seats, a reversing camera, a light and rain sensor and automatic climate control. You have to pay extra for metallic paint. €650, to be precise. The Maxus T90 EV Pick-up can be ordered immediately.
