Mercedes-AMG C 63 Estate caught

After the unveiling of the new C-Class, the necessary fireworks from Mercedes-AMG are in the pipeline. Previously, the C 53 sedan and Estate and the C 63 sedan already passed in camouflage packaging, the C 63 Estate now joins that list.

Admittedly, it no longer takes a lot of imagination to be able to present the C 63 Estate without camouflage. It’s still pretty well packaged during the winter test in Scandinavia, but the wider wheel arches and diffuser with four tailpipes are hard to hide. The contours of the large air vents in the front bumper are also visible in the camouflage and the thickest C Estate has the characteristic Panamericana grille with vertical bars. Furthermore, the front wheels of the test model can also be found on other AMG models, which gives a good indication of what the upper station may look like on the footwear.

The exact specifications of the new C 63 are not yet known. In any case, it seems almost certain that the 4.0 V8 has to make way for a four-cylinder. Thanks to hybrid technology, the power output of the new C 63 is expected to be around 500 hp, achieving comparable values to the current model. In terms of power, he will most likely not deteriorate, but it will have to become clear later what the arrival of the four-cylinder will mean for the experience. Under the C 63 comes the C 53, which when it comes to power will of course have to recognize its superior in the 63.

It is not yet known exactly when the new Mercedes-AMG C 63 will appear on the scene. It is quite possible that it will be presented before the end of this year. The plug-in hybrid C300e with 313 hp is up to that time the strongest C-class you can buy.
