Mercedes-Benz EQA ready for unveiling

The fully electric Mercedes-Benz EQA is ready for its unveiling. We already get to see part of the nose before we get there.

This week Mercedes-Benz unveils its latest all-electric model: the EQA. The time has come on Wednesday 20 January. Mercedes already gives a glimpse of the electric counterpart of the GLA. What is immediately noticeable is that the EQA has many similarities with the larger EQC. The EQA has headlamps with a strip of LED lighting in them that continues in an LED bar all over the nose. The headlights continue in their entirety into a panel in which, thanks to the chrome frame, optically still appears to be a grille.

The design of the rest of the car is unlikely to hold any major surprises. After all, we know that the EQA will be the electric variant of GLA and that the body and interior largely correspond. Of course, the necessary EQ decoration is not lacking in order to be distinctive and logically the back also looks clearly different from that of the GLA. We already know that the entry-level model will be the EQA 250, with two-wheel drive and 190 hp power. Above that comes a variant with four-wheel drive and two engines, which together produce 273 hp. We will know all the details on Wednesday. The EQA will be at dealers this spring.
