Mercedes-Benz EQA
Mercedes-Benz takes its latest electric model for sale: the compact, premium electric SUV EQA. The EQA 250 arrives first, more variants will appear later.
From now on you can order the Mercedes-Benz EQA. Consumers pay from 49,995 euros roadworthy. The Business Solution Luxury lease model for business drivers has a tax value of also 49,995 euros. The compact, electric premium SUV will be at dealers in the spring. Initially, it concerns the EQA 250 version.
Range and performance
Ultimately, the EQA is extended to family. Variants with more power, a longer range and four-wheel drive will appear. The EQA 250 is not bad either: the battery capacity of 66.5 kWh is good for a range of 426 km (measured according to WLTP). The electric motor offers a maximum of 140 kW power, which is equivalent to 188 hp. There is always 375 Nm of pulling power available.
Fully charging the battery at a wallbox or charging station takes 5 hours and 45 minutes. You only need half an hour on a fast charger to charge up to 80 percent. The battery pack is located under the bottom. It is decoupled from the chassis and body to minimize noise and vibration. Furthermore, it is placed in a frame to increase safety in the event of an accident.

Appearance and standard equipment
Just like the other model (the EQC) of the Mercedes-Benz EQ family, the EQA is recognizable by the Black Panel grille and the finishing accents in blue. In the introduction model EQA Edition 1, the color is even visible through the perforated nappa leather cover. Exclusive to the EQA, rose gold accents are also applied, for example on the bi- or tri-color alloy wheels and on the instrument panel.
Standard equipment includes a heat pump (for better energy efficiency and thus more electric kilometers), Active Lane Keeping Assist, Active Brake Assist, Driving Assistance package, MBUX infotainment system, electrically opening and closing tailgate, comfort seats with four-way lumbar support and a leather-covered multifunction steering wheel. The navigation system with Electric Intelligence makes continuous action range simulations, for example to reach the charging location without any problems.
