The still not old Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupé will soon be facelifted. An early specimen climbed off the cutting table and passed the lens of our spy photographer. The cosmetic procedure does not seem to be radical.
The GLE Coupé presented in 2019 has only been in the Netherlands since last year, but will soon be facelifted. This has mainly to do with its sister model, the regular Mercedes-Benz GLE. That SUV was presented in its current form a year earlier and will blow out its third candle later this year. Mercedes-Benz is of course simultaneously undergoing a facelift on the two body styles and so the renewed GLE Coupé is now also in public.
Do not expect that the GLE Coupé after its facelift is suddenly unrecognizable. Mercedes-Benz seems to give its largest coupé-SUV for the time being, differently arranged headlights and the bumpers are also undergoing changes. In addition, the tape on the rear lights is there for a reason, although there is little new to be found. However, don’t be surprised if Mercedes-Benz also adjusts the interpretation of the light units here. Count on updated infotainment as well, but what the SUV can expect in the motor area is not yet clear.
