The Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series is the superlative of the AMG GT in all forms. Also in terms of price, it now becomes clear.
With the Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series, a new car is at the top of the food chain at Mercedes. The name Black Series has meant in the past that it was quite extreme and that is no different now. The 4.0 biturbo V8 in this monster is good for a power of 730 hp and a maximum torque of 800 Nm. To achieve this, the block received new camshafts, other exhaust manifolds, larger intercoolers and an ignition sequence that differs from the other V8s. With all that, the quite thicker dressed AMG GT shoots to 100 km / h in 3.2 seconds. The stretch is only removed at 325 km / h.
It should come as no surprise that all that beauty costs quite a bit. For the time being, Mercedes-AMG only announces the German Black Series price. That is (including taxes) € 335,240. If we translate that freely into Dutch prices, including VAT and bpm, then you should soon think of about € 410,000. Yet a ton more than the barely € 290,000 AMG GT R Pro, which is now the sub-topper. Almost three tons more than the starting price of the AMG GT. Anyway, then you also have something. If you want it in the flashy, orange color as in the pictures (especially intended for the Black Series), a few thousand more will be added. Incidentally, there will also be a variant that reportedly costs only half a ton, although you must first have also ordered a Mercedes-AMG One.
