MG has announced the first Dutch prices of the EHS Plug-in Hybrid. The new MG will be at the dealer from the second week of January.
MG, which has returned to the Netherlands, was very successful with its fully electric ZS and now the plug-in hybrid EHS is added. The EHS, which we explained in detail earlier, has a 1.5-liter blown four-cylinder petrol engine that works together with a 122 hp electric motor. Together, this is good for a system power of 258 hp and 250 Nm. You must be able to drive fully electrically up to 52 km according to the WLTP cycle. It is now known that you must deposit at least € 34,985 (including taxes) for this newcomer.
For that money you get the EHS as ‘Edition 1’, a limited and temporarily available version that combines the standard equipment (Comfort) with the 18-inch alloy wheels of the Luxury version. When the Edition 1 is sold out, the Comfort takes over for a price of € 35,985. As standard, the EHS includes a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, 10.1-inch infotainment screen, TomTom navigation, DAB digital radio and smartphone integration with Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. The Luxery version will be in the price lists from € 37,895 and, on top of the Comfort, it offers LED lighting, a panoramic roof, sportier leather seats and a 360-degree camera.
In the second week of January, the MG EHS is expected at the dealers in Amsterdam, Breda and Rotterdam.
Update: We previously mentioned the above prices as excluding taxes, but it appears to be prices including taxes. The aforementioned estimated starting price was therefore not correct.
