Mick Schumacher will drive Formula 1 next year

Mick Schumacher, the son of seven-time world champion Michael Schumacher, will drive Formula 1 next year. The 21-year-old has been confirmed as the new driver for the Haas team.

None other than Michael Schumacher’s son will drive his first Formula 1 season next year. Mick Schumacher makes the switch from Formula 2 to the F1 team of Haas. After this year, drivers Kevin Magnussen and Romain Grosjean will leave. Schumacher junior will join Haas as a teammate of driver Nikita Mazepin, who was confirmed earlier this week.

For the German, there is only the chance to win the title in Formula 2 this year, but next year he will be following in his father’s footsteps. Michael Schumacher, who has disappeared from publicity after a serious skiing accident, has been known for years as the most successful Formula 1 driver ever. Schumacher took seven world titles and until recently was the driver with the most wins in Formula 1 history. Lewis Hamilton recently took over and equaled Schumacher by taking his seventh title.
