In the year that the 100th anniversary is being celebrated, Moto Guzzi has something else to celebrate: the 75-year uninterrupted collaboration with the Regiment Kurassiers. To add to that last color, a limited V85 TT Guardia d’Onore has been released.
The House of the Eagle celebrates its prestigious and exclusive partnership with the Regiment Cuirassiers, a partnership that has continued uninterrupted for 75 years, with the launch of the Moto Guzzi V85 TT Guardia d’Onore, a special limited and numbered edition of the Allroad in retro looks, which became part of the motorcycle fleet of the Guardia d’Onore (Guard of Honor) of the Italian head of state precisely in the year of Moto Guzzi’s centenary.
Like the V85 TT delivered to the Presidential Palace, the Quirinale, the V85 TT Guardia d’Onore is characterized by the distinct black livery with white graphics, which distinguishes the Moto Guzzi from the Cuirassiers. The white line over the front fender continues on the fuel tank and side covers and can also be found on the larger Touring windscreen.
The latter is standard equipment, as are the centerstand, crash bars and additional LED lights. Moto Guzzi V85 TT Guardia d’Onore is produced in a limited series of 1946 units. This number of copies is a clear reference to the first 75 years of the relationship between the Mandello company and the Regiment of Cuirassiers. Another proof of the exclusivity of this special version is that the serial number of the model, from 1 to 1946, is stamped into the clamping bracket of the handlebar.
The Moto Guzzi V85 TT Guardia d’Onore has a suggested retail price of €15,399 and can be reserved online from today on the Moto Guzzi website.
