As of January 1, 2025, Motomind will be the importer for Fantic Motor in the Netherlands and Flanders. The Leiden-based company has been active for the Dainese, AGV and Barracuda brands since 2015, and will add the Italian motorcycle brand to its portfolio from next year.
Fantic Motor was founded in 1968, and since then it has grown from an enduro-oriented brand to a brand with a varied range of street, off-road and dirt bikes from 50cc to 700cc.
According to good Italian custom, Fantic distinguishes itself through attention to design in combination with fine driving characteristics. Under the leadership of Martijn and Justin from Motormind, work will be done on further expanding the dealer network in the Netherlands and Flanders.
In addition to the scrambler-like Caballero 125, 500 and 700, Fantic will add two new models to the street program in 2025; the aggressively styled naked “Stealth” 125 and 500, and the sporty Imola 125 and 500.
To strengthen the developments of its street and off-road models, Fantic is active in various disciplines within motorsport. In 2025, Aaron Canet will make a bid for the Moto2 world championship together with his Belgian teammate Barry Baltus, and in the MXGP the brand will hold its own thanks to the efforts of Dutch riders Glenn Coldenhoff, Brian Bogers and their Italian teammate Andrea Bonacorsi. Fantic is also active in the Dakar rally and in various international Enduro championships.
“Our existing portfolio is made up of Italian brands where quality and an eye for design come first. Fantic fits in perfectly with this; the engines in the range offer something extra compared to the existing mass, while quality and aftersales are taken care of down to the last detail. We look forward to strongly representing the brand in the Netherlands and Flanders together with our dealers.”
“We are happy to welcome Motomind to the Fantic family. We thank our former importer Adrie Peene for his efforts, and we are convinced that with Motomind we can optimally utilize the potential of Fantic’s new model program in the Netherlands and Flanders.”
With the expansion of the model program, the Fantic Motor dealer network in the Netherlands and Flanders will also be expanded. Interested dealers in the street and/or off-road program can contact Motomind via martijn@motomind.nl. There is good news for those who want to get acquainted with Fantic’s complete model program; During the Utrecht Motor Show from February 20 to 23, the Italian brand will be represented in the importers’ hall.
