Motorola Edge 30 appears in the wild, to be announced soon

Images have surfaced of the Motorola Edge 30. The images show many aspects and specifications of the device. For example, the device will have a FullHD+ OLED panel with a refresh rate of 144 Hz. What else can we expect?

According to different renders, to leak and images the Motorola Edge 30 comes on the market with a 4,000 mAh battery, which can be charged with the included 30 watt charger. This is also the maximum speed in terms of charging. This makes the device different from its bigger brother, the Motorola Edge 30 Pro. This device can be charged with a power of 68 watts. If we look further at the ‘normal’ Edge 30, we see three cameras on the back of the device. In all likelihood, this concerns a 50 MP main camera, a 50 MP wide-angle lens and a 2 MP depth sensor.

The screen of the Edge 30 is a 6.55-inch Full HD+ OLED panel with a refresh rate of 144 Hz. The device will run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G + chipset and it will probably be supported with 8 GB of RAM.

Similarities Edge 30 Pro

As mentioned above, the Edge 30 can charge less quickly than its bigger brother, and it has a much smaller battery. On the other hand, the device seems to have the same camera island and also to run on the same software. The Edge 30 also comes with Android 12 out of the box with Motorola’s My UX shell over it. It is therefore expected that the Edge 30 will follow the same update policy, which means that the Edge 30 will receive two Android upgrades and three years of security updates.
