Motorola Frontier
Next week on February 24, Motorola is rumored to be unveiling its Edge 30 Pro flagship. The device gets a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, two 50 MP cameras and a stylus. Yet that does not end Motorola’s plans for the premium segment.
In January, information leaked about a ‘Frontier’ top device, the first smartphone to use a 200 MP camera. The Rumor Spreader Even Blass comes out with the first images of the phone. It is noticeable that the Frontier itself is thin, but that the device does have a sturdy camera island. It comes out of the housing in two levels. We see that the wide-angle and telephoto camera protrudes slightly from the back, while the large main sensor comes a little further.
Leaked specs
It is also noteworthy that Evan Blass talks in his tweet about a 194MP main camera, while the Frontier is rumored to receive a 200MP ISOCELL HP1 camera sensor from Samsung. A camera with a size of 1/1.5 inch. We suspect that the image is slightly cropped by Motorola and that Blass is therefore talking about 194 MP.
It has also been leaked that the phone will sport a 6.7-inch OLED display that has a high refresh rate of 144 Hz. The Frontier’s motor is also Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and it works with a 4,500 mAh battery. It is striking that, following the leaked information, Motorola will propose a better fast charging technology that charges with a power of 125W. Furthermore, the Frontier can also charge wirelessly with 50W.
