With the launch of Sartoria Meccanica, the renovated MV Agusta Centro Stile in Schiranna – the brand’s historic home base on Lake Como – is officially fully operational. Over the years, some of the most beautiful motorcycles in the world have been created from that design center, from the F4 to the Superveloce. Now it is the centerpiece of a program that promises to be “the art of limitless personalization.”

No configurator, but a conversation
According to MV Agusta, every Sartoria Meccanica project starts with an in-depth conversation between client and designer. No online menus, but a dialogue about materials, colors, finishing and technology. Every part can be adapted or reinvented, as long as it is technically and legally possible.
Carbon, titanium, billet aluminum, hand-stitched leather – everything is on the table. The boundaries are determined by the customer’s imagination (and presumably budget). Even the smallest detail, from the tank badge to the seat stitching, is designed with surgical precision and hand-finished by Italian craftsmen.
Three levels of exclusivity
MV Agusta offers the program in three levels of customization:
– Sartoria Meccanica Essenziale – the entry level, where customers can design exclusive color schemes and graphics, and choose the materials of, for example, the saddle to their own taste.
– Sartoria Meccanica Ricercato – a step higher, with the option to also graphically personalize technical components such as frame, swingarm or triple clamps, and to choose your own wheels.
– Sartoria Meccanica Iconico – the top of the pyramid, where everything is possible. Think of specially developed high-performance parts, unique technical solutions, a custom helmet in a matching design and even a personalized paddock stand. Here an MV Agusta becomes a one-off work of art.
Each machine receives a certificate of authenticity and a Sartoria Meccanica plaque on the frame, officially confirming that it is a One-of-One creation.
Italian craftsmanship meets engineering
In practice, this means that a Brutale, Superveloce or Dragster within Sartoria Meccanica is no longer a model from the catalog, but a white canvas. The customer designs his or her dream motorcycle together with the Centro Stile – a fusion of art, technology and emotion.
