Apple has released many new devices this year, but one of them is my absolute favorite. Here’s why the iPhone 15 Pro is my favorite Apple product of 2023.
Apple product of the year: the iPhone 15 Pro
Apple has announced four new iPhones again this year: the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro and the iPhone 15 Pro Max. The ‘normal’ iPhone 15 adopted many features from the iPhone 14 Pro, so that meant that Apple had to go one step further with this year’s Pro models. And as far as I’m concerned, that has certainly been a success, because for me the iPhone 15 Pro is the Apple product of 2023.
With a new titanium casing and a new action button, Apple has made a number of major changes that have made the iPhone even better. Your phone is perhaps the most important device in your life and I enjoy using the iPhone 15 Pro every day. That is why I explain why the iPhone 15 is the product of 2023 for me.
New design for the iPhone 15 Pro
Apple has adjusted the housing of the iPhone this year for the first time in a long time. The iPhone 15 Pro has a housing with titanium edges. With the matte back and rounded corners, the new design looks very beautiful. The rounded corners also make the phone fit better in the hand. In addition, titanium is a very strong material, so the phone will not break easily.
Another change to the design of the iPhone 15 Pro is the new action button. You can find this above the volume buttons of the device. You can decide for yourself which function is performed when you press the button. That took some searching at first, but it is now a button that I use every day. The action button is therefore a very nice addition for me, with which I can turn off all my alarms at once every day.
Camera is extremely sharp (even in the dark)
For me, the camera of the iPhone 15 Pro is the highlight of the device. For this I used the iPhone 14 Plus, which still had a 12-megapixel camera. The iPhone 15 Pro has a 48-megapixel camera and you notice that immediately. The device takes extremely sharp photos, even if you zoom in a little more. In addition, the phone has an improved night mode, allowing you to take beautiful photos at night.
In addition, the iPhone 15 Pro has ProRAW, just like previous Pro models. With the camera function, your photos are no longer compressed, but all information is retained. This allows you to take much nicer photos without losing quality. The iPhone 15 Pro is such a full-fledged camera, with which I like to capture my holiday photos. The only disadvantage is that the images take up a bit more space.

Furthermore, the iPhone 15 Pro is extremely fast thanks to the new A17 Pro chip. The display has ProMotion, which allows the iPhone’s refresh rate to be adjusted. As a result, the phone has an always-on screen, which I find particularly useful with the new Standby mode in iOS 17. The iPhone 15 Pro now also functions as my alarm clock every night with the new function.
