The Auto China exhibition floor is packed with eccentric study models, with modern gadgets and fully loaded concept cars, many of which are equipped with an electric powertrain. The Eureka 03 Concept from the Chinese Neta fits perfectly into that picture.
Chinese EV manufacturer Hozon Auto carries a number of models under the Neta umbrella. The portfolio currently consists of just two crossovers, of which the Neta 01 launched in 2018 was the first. This Neta Eureka 03, a concept car that is very promising on paper, is currently shining on the Auto China exhibition floor in Beijing!
The Eureka 03 is a sleek, electric sedan that is 4.8 meters long, 2 meters wide and 1.4 meters high. The wheelbase is 2.9 meters. With those dimensions, the Eureka 03 is about ten centimeters longer than a Tesla Model 3, while the wheelbase of the Eureka 03 is several centimeters longer than that of that popular American EV. The conceptual newcomer is packed with a total of 11 cameras and sensors, hardware that must keep a close eye on the environment of the car. The study model should be able to drive completely independently, without interference from the driver. So autonomous level four.
Extensive technical specifications are not released by the Chinese manufacturer. The Eureka 03 should be able to shoot to a speed of 100 km / h in about 4 seconds. More interesting is the range. The unspecified battery pack should be good for a range of 800 kilometers, although that is undoubtedly an estimate.
In Europe you do not have to expect any products from Hozon Auto. To date, the manufacturer is only active in China.
