The first omajin products
omajin will launch a first series of products in September 2024, including a baby monitor, a solar security camera, a surveillance camera (indoor and outdoor), a video doorbell and a smart plug
Baby monitor
The omajin baby monitor camera provides safety for babies and peace of mind for parents. In addition to the wide-angle camera, night vision, cry detection and rotating head, the baby monitor even emits light, soft music and white noise. Parents are alerted in real time on their smartphone when their baby wakes up and can also control the temperature and humidity of the room via the app. The baby monitor is available for €89.99.
Solar powered security camera
A camera without a plug or cable, that is charged by solar energy. Including motion detection and 1080p high-definition night vision. The solar security camera recognizes people and animals and focuses only on important notifications. The 105 dB siren and the built-in speaker and spotlight effectively deter intruders. Videos are automatically saved, on a local SD card or in a secure cloud. The solar security camera is available for €164.99.
Wireless indoor and outdoor surveillance camera
The omajin wireless security camera can monitor both the inside and outside of a home. The camera offers a wide 140-degree viewing angle and 2K+ HD image quality. The system can distinguish between people and animals, so that only important notifications are sent to the user. A specific monitoring area can be set, and if an intruder is detected, the user can intervene remotely via the two-way speaker and microphone. The 9,600 mAh battery can last for several months on a single charge, and the user will be warned on their smartphone when the battery is low. The wireless indoor/outdoor security camera is available for €114.99.
Wireless video doorbell
The omajin wireless video doorbell has a 2K+ image resolution, night vision and infrared filter. When a guest or delivery person rings the doorbell, the user receives a notification on their smartphone and can answer remotely with the built-in speaker. In the event of an attempted theft or vandalism, the doorbell sounds a powerful 85 dB alarm. The battery is weatherproof (IP65) and lasts up to 10 months on a single charge. The wireless video doorbell is available for €134.99.
The cameras, doorbell and baby monitor have an SD card for local data storage. Users can also subscribe to a secure Cloud in Europe for additional storage. The outdoor products – the wireless video doorbell, the wireless surveillance camera and the solar security camera – have an IP55 or IP65 rating, making them optimally resistant to water and dust.
Smart plug
The omajin smart plug allows users to control their appliances and lights from their smartphone to reduce power consumption. With the omajin mobile app, appliances (lights, heating, coffee machine, etc.) can be programmed in advance. A ‘timer’ function can be used to limit the power consumption of certain appliances. The simple, sleek design fits into any interior, and an unobtrusive indicator light shows whether the plug is on or off. Thanks to Bluetooth, the plug even works when there is no Wi-Fi! The smart plug is available for €19.99.
All omajin products are available on the dedicated omajin by Netatmo app, available on iOS and Android. The compatibility of omajin products with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa is currently being rolled out and will be available to all users by the end of September
