According to the message from Deadline Netflix is exploring the possibility of live broadcasting, although plans are still in the early stages. Netflix would use the live streams, among other things, to let the public vote in talent shows.
Netflix also plans to broadcast several stand-up specials live. This year Netflix held its first in person comedy festival called Netflix is a Joke Fest. This can be seen on Netflix at a later time, but a live option gives users the opportunity to watch immediately.
Netflix would also like to use the feature to broadcast live reunions. In recent years, many reunions of popular films and series have been made, such as Friends and Harry Potter.
